40 academics from 20 countries around the world for an international conference devoted to all major areas of business economy: at LIUC – Università Cattaneo there was held the eighth edition of the Global Business Research Conference organised together with the World Business Institute (Australia ).
This was the occasion for a discussion on issues related to the following areas: Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Investment, Management, Marketing, Business Ethics, E-Commerce. Lecturers presented a series of papers, some theoretical and others empirical, in international journals such as the Global Economy and Finance Journal, the Global Review of Accounting and Finance, the World Journal of Management, and the International Review of Business Research Papers.
“An international and multi-disciplinary conference – said the event’s chairman, professor Vittorio D’Amato, co-ordinator of the Master’s Degree in Management of Human Resources – as the “soul” of this university is multi-disciplinary, which in its offer integrates several components of managerial training. We discussed not only macro-economic scenarios but also some specific “cases” of individual countries. The contribution of the LIUC faculty, who presented 10 papers, was important. ” Works, those of the LIUC faculty, ranged from skills that an effective leadership should have from the point of view of collaborators, to new methods of measuring resilience, to the relationship between wearable technology devices and privacy management.
