LIUC’s didactic model is based on physical presence and live participation of students and professors. The exams in distance was a forced choice during the first months of the pandemic, but did not prove to be an effective solution. On the same wavelength, a hybrid model for the exams – with students part in presence and part in distance – cannot be considered a fair evaluation approach.
LIUC is constantly tracking COVID-19 evolution and wants to keep its service standards at the highest level while respecting governmental rules related to public health. For these reasons, and given the above premise, the exams will be only in presence. In case of significant changes in the rules, further communication will be given. All the students who cannot take the exams in presence due to the norms related to the health situation, will be allowed to retake the exam at the beginning of the second term in subsequent established days, likely on Saturdays.
To retake the exam:
The retake exam will be scheduled coherently with the norms of quarantine, starting from the end of the exam session. Neither further postponements not different exam models are allowed.
The modes and times to send COVID certification will be communicated by January 15th, 2022.
