Biographical Notes
Alessandro Creazza is an Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the School of Industrial Engineering of LIUC University and a Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics at the University of Hull, UK. He was a Reader in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Hull University Business School within the Logistics Institute, where he was Director of UK Recruitment and Partnerships for the Faculty of Business Law and Politics. After having obtained an MSc in Management and Industrial Engineering with full honours in 2005 and his Ph.D. in Management and Industrial Engineering in 2008 with full honours at LIUC University (Italy), he successfully completed an Executive MBA programme in Strategic Supply Chain and Purchasing Management at MIP Politecnico di Milano (Italy). Since 2006 he is licensed to practice the profession of Industrial Engineer. He completed in 2016 his Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice programme at the University of Hull and since March 2016 he is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK. He is the Director of the Green Transition Hub of LIUC University, working on the themes of the ecological transition and of Circular Economy. He is coordinator of the PhD Course in “Management, Accounting and Finance” at LIUC University and supervisor and co-supervisor of 6 doctoral students. He has attracted research funds for over 850,000 euros as principal and co-investigator.
Scientific Areas of Interest
He specializes in the area of the design and management of international logistics networks and his research interests include: : supply chain network design with risk and sustainability considerations (Eco-Resilience), Logistics 4.0, Circular Supply Chain Management.
