Quality Assurance System


The Quality Assurance process at the Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC University involves all the departments of the University, not only those directly involved in the teaching activities of the study courses.

The Schools of Economics and Management, Industrial Engineering and Law design and implement the Study Courses and are responsible for promoting all actions necessary for AiQ – Internal Quality Assurance and for the self-evaluation of the proposed and implemented activities. A Joint Teacher-Student Committee is also set up within each school to perform internal assessment.

Since 2012 the Academic Quality Presidium has had the task of defining and proposing the quality assurance and self-assessment/quality assessment system for Academic study courses at all levels, monitoring the system, promoting and fostering continuous improvement of the students’ learning process, monitoring the results of the training processes and making them available and promoting the culture of quality control.

The Assessment Board verifies the application of the QA system, carrying out a documented control and guidance activity of the QA by means of opinions, recommendations and indications to the Quality Presidium and the governing bodies.

Operating within this perspective, the Cattaneo University Quality Assurance process is addressed not only to students (potential, enrolled, international) and to the institutions that assess (ANVUR) and accredit (MIUR), but to all the stakeholders in the project, in the broadest sense: graduates, the world of work, the area, i.e., the local area but also the national and global context in which LIUC graduates will work.
