I am member of the Association for Mathematics Applied to Social and Economic Sciences, the Working Group on Generalized Convexity and Monotonicity and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.
Scientific Areas of Interest
Optimization, Variational Inequalities, Robust Optimization, Economic Applications, Decision Theory.
Academic CV
Degree in Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University in 1996/97, PhD in Applied Mathematics at Trieste University in 2002.
I was Assistant Professor from 2001 to 2010 at the University of VAlle d'Aosta, then Associate Professor until 2015 at the same University. From 2015 to 2018 I was Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Insubria, where I became Full Professor of Applied Mathematics. I was appointed member of the ASN Committee 2018/2020,and I carried out evaluation activities for ANVUR in the initial and periodic accreditation of academic degrees.
I do research in applied mathematics, optimization and applications to economics and finance. I am an expert on Pension and Credit
- Insurance technology; Banking and financial operations at the Chamber of Commerce of Varese and CTU at the Court of Busto Arsizio.
