Biographical Notes
Full Professor of Corporate Finance at LIUC-Cattaneo University. Director of the Master Degree in Merchant Banking and Private Capital of LIUC Business School. She chairs the Scientific Committee of the Private Equity Monitor - PEM Observatory and the Venture Capital Monitor - VEM Observatory, active in the same University. Director of the Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Finance for Infrastructure and Smart Cities (ExSUF) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and LIUC. Chief Executive of AIFI – Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association. She is independent Director of Banca Mediolanum SpA, LU-VE SpA and Sol SpA. She is Vice President of Advisory Committee of Borsa Italiana.
Scientific Areas of Interest
Academic research is focused on corporate finance topics, with special reference to innovative finance: private equity, venture capital, private debt. Finance for infrastructure and PPP - public private partrnership. Furthermore, I also research Fintech as an innovative financing tool for SMEs.
