Biographical Notes
Carolina Guerini graduated at Bocconi Univreisty in Milan in 1985, and began there her academical career. Today, she's Associate Professor in Marketing al LIUC University. She is as well a marketing consultant for clients in diverse industries. She extensively cooperates at a European level with international companies. Other significant experience involve her participation in the Board of an Italian SME operating in the plastic industry (STAMP S.p.A- Milano). She’s Member of the Scientific Committes of the Centro Studi dell’Ordine dei Commercialisti Milanesi - ODCEC - Milano and Vice President of ACMEP, a newly born ETS. She's Fellow of SDA Bocconi - the Business School of Bocconi University in Milan. She's as well Fellow and of Baolo Baffi Center for Research where she cooperates in multidisciplinary research projects.
Scientific Areas of Interest
Her main research interests are in the fields of Marketing, International Marketing and Direct Sales. Recent researches refer to apps, to the digital-do-it by yourself phenomenon within network marketing downlines, to sustainable marketing, as well as to new metrics as Instagrammability scores. She addresses as well the topic of financial education analysing citizens needs and barriers to financial education acquisition.

Carolina Guerini is Associate Professor in Marketing at Cattaneo University LIUC ( Castellanza-Varese) where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses.
She's been for years responsible of the Degree in Marketing and owner of several Courses: Marketing (undergraduate), Product Innovation and Development ( until 2021), Digital Marketing and International Marketing (graduate). She teaches as well BtoB Marketing (Industrial Buyers and Industrial Markets) within Bocconi University Master in Marketing and Communication. She collaborates systematically with several International and National Universities: she' s been Professeur Invite' for several years in Lyon, Centre Franco-Italien de Management Internationa, Lyon III; Program committee member for eKNOW 2022 e 2023- International Conference on Information, Process, and Knowledge Management; Program Committee member DMEC 2021, 2022, Spain; Committee Member Mostar University - 40 Years Conference (2011)); Lecturer of the International MBA Part Time, Course Title “The Multinational Firm” (a.a.2008) at the Donau Universitaet in Krems and of the Course "Designing Luxury Products and Services" (Batchelor Luxury Business Bachelor Program) in Glion. Her expertise in designing, supervising and running training programs and research projects is long in.She's part of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Contemporary Education and Teaching Research.
