Biographical Notes
Niccolò Comerio is currently a Research Fellow in the "School of Economics and Management" at LIUC – Università Cattaneo. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the “Center for Tourism Research”, Wakayama University (Wakayama, Japan).
Lastly, he is Assistant Professor in the courses of "Macroeconomia" (Bachelor Degree), "Economia Pubblica" (Bachelor Degree), "Research Methods" (Master Degree, English version), "Competizione, Mercati e Politiche Economiche" (Master Degree) and "Asia in the World Economy" (Master Degree, English version).
Scientific Areas of Interest
My current research activities focus on several facets of the development of the tourism sector, such as the economic contribution at a micro-territorial basis, and its potential negative externalities on the environment.
