Biographical Notes
Emanuele Pizzurno, PhD, is Associate Professor of Innovation Management at the School of Industrial Engineering of LIUC Università Cattaneo. He also holds Adjunct Professor positions at Scuola Mattei - Eni Corporate University and the Department of Management and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Previously, he served as a Visiting Professor of Innovation Management at Nordakademie in Hamburg and was an Affiliate Faculty member at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School. In recognition of his teaching excellence and innovation, he received a national and international awards in 2020 and 2023.
Prof. Pizzurno's research and teaching primarily focus on open innovation, technology management, and innovation management. Recently, he has extended his studies to the field of clusters, examining their role in enhancing competitiveness. Additionally, he has a strong background in researching and studying business environmental strategies and management. His expertise in these areas is reflected in numerous scientific publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, Prof. Pizzurno actively serves as an editorial board member and referee for various international scientific journals.
