With the Free Mover programme, you can attend courses at a foreign university where there is no agreement with LIUC and still obtain recognition for your work there.
To participate
The first step is to send the International Relations Office a letter explaining your decision to participate in the programme, enclosing a certificate of the examinations already taken.
The International Relations Office will forward your letter to the head of the relevant School.
Once you have obtained clearance from the head, you will have to contact the university which interests you directly for the necessary course registration procedures.
Remember that before departure, you must have regularised your registration at LIUC.
The Free Mover programme does not provide financial support, so you will have to pay any attendance fees required by the host institution and all travel, board and lodging costs during your stay abroad.
Recognition of examinations taken in Free Mover
Three months before departure, you will have to submit a study plan to the International Relations Office.
Your plan will be assessed by your School for academic recognition of examinations taken abroad.
On your return, you must provide the International Relations Office with a certificate from the foreign institution confirming your course attendance and exam results.
The exams will then be converted and registered as exams taken abroad and substituted for exams at LIUC.
