The Career Service provides its undergraduates and graduates with various services aimed at helping them enter the world of work.
The Personal Career Advisor offers undergraduates personalised monitoring during the months immediately prior to graduation, helping them define their career path.
The pre-graduation interview is a time of discussion, prior to graduation, between undergraduates and their Personal Career Advisor. During the interview it will be possible to learn about the services provided by the Career Service and agree on how to manage your profile.
Sending a graduate list to companies
At the end of each graduation session, the Career Service will notify the companies in its network of session graduates interested in considering professional opportunities. Based on the information given for each graduate, recruiters will be able to contact the profiles they are interested in directly to offer them in-depth interviews.
Targeted curriculum reporting
The Career Service manages graduates based on their career interests by flagging individual profiles in response to specific requests from network companies.
The portal makes it possible to browse the new job and internship offers we receive and to apply easily and directly to all the opportunities posted by the companies in our network.
The Career Service organises opportunities for students and graduates to meet with companies in the LIUC network:
- On Campus Recruiting: company presentations followed by get-to-know-you interview sessions (speed-interviews).
- Meet the company: explorations of company life to learn about the most sought-after positions.
Undergraduates and graduates can request an appointment for a one-on-one mock interview in preparation for a scheduled interview with a company.
The service aims to work, together with the candidate, on their presentation, starting with the role for which they will be interviewing, in order to better enhance their experience and skills gained, all in line with what the company is looking for.
Students receive immediate feedback on the handling of the interview and learn more about the typical dynamics of a selection interview so that it can be handled effectively.
A foreign internship is an opportunity to enrich your background and give an international edge to your profile.
Once you have identified a company in which to do your internship, whether in Italy or abroad, just email your Personal Career Advisor or to [email protected] with a request to open the administrative file, specifying the name of the company and the details of the company contact.
In cooperation with the company, the Career Service will draft the necessary documents for the internship to begin.
The Career Service aims to remain a point of reference for LIUC graduates over time.
Graduates who already have professional experience and would like support in reviewing their goals and seeking different employment can contact the service to receive individual advice. During the meetings, topics such as reviewing a CV, writing a cover letter, the importance of personal networking and job hunting through the main channels used by companies to hire new resources, will also be covered.
The senior graduate will also be able to apply for access to the dedicated bulletin board on the LIUC Careers & Internship portal, through which the Career Service passes on job opportunities specific to experienced profiles
