C.LAB- Laboratory for business information and creativity by ComoNExT – Innovation Hub with LIUC – Cattaneo University is a meeting place between companies and academe where knowledge is made available to support a training course on entrepreneurship and innovation.
It is a project, and a physical space, aimed at Economics and Engineering students to stimulate, collect, evaluate and select innovative ideas to be developed through a mentoring process with ComoNExT, an incubator certified by the Ministry of Economic Development.
The topics to be explored through the services of C.Lab include:
- big data management
- digital communication
- new organisational models
- industry 4.0
- technological and digital innovation
- circular economy
- marketing and finance for innovation.
C.Lab is also available to teachers, who can draw on it to supplement their own programmes with direct experience, by reserving dedicated class treks, suggesting topic challenges using entrepreneurs who have made technology their business and supporting students in the development of their business idea. C.Lab is also a reference for local companies, who can provide active testimonials but can also scout for innovative ideas, search for new talent or support the tutoring pathways with the formula of suspended enterprise, i.e., offering the necessary resources to complete the tutoring pathways. Through the SUSPENDED ENTERPRISE initiative, companies can also participate actively in C.Lab, enhancing the value of the mentoring and incubation courses.
