Two weeks at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, USA, for a very interesting Summer School.
From June 18 to July 2 2023, six (6) LIUC students from the School of Economics and Management and the School of Industrial Engineering accompanied by Margherita Mietto, one of LIUC’s PhD students, attended lectures in Finance and Phyton, visited companies such as Bloomberg L.p. headquarters, the United Nations Stock Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
“I sincerely recommend the experience at Stevens Institute of Technology – says Yvan Antonio Miccolis, student enrolled in the Master degree in Economics and Management – There I was able to experience, although for two weeks, a full immersion in the life of an American university campus, learning how to use the Bloomberg terminal and Python software in a complete and modern lab system, and I also obtained the Bloomberg BMC certification. All this took place in the beautiful city of New York and visits to great places like the United Nations and the Federal Reserve gave an added value to the experience”.
Marco Buttiglione, other student enrolled in the Master degree in Economics and Management, added: “The Summer School at Stevens Institute of Technology was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone wishing to experience a period of international study in an American college. The Bloomberg and Python courses were very interesting. In addition, the excellent location of the university, just a few minutes from the centre of New York, gave us a great view of all the skyscrapers of the Manhattan skyline”.
In a few words. “The Summer School in New York is an opportunity for an international experience in a top-notch academic environment. The interesting courses, the English practice and the extraordinary location allow me to recommend this experience to everyone.”
