DEGREE COURSES IN BUSINESS ECONOMICS
Business Economics – Bachelor degree

The School of Economics and Management offers an ideal setting to take a pathway of economic and management education with a global perspective deeply rooted in the principles of responsibility.
The economy and management are about people, their aspirations, their needs. The manager must not only be a technician who masters tools and functional knowledge, but also one who has to work with people and for people. A manager has to put individuals in a position where they can express the best of their ability to work together to maximise the product of their efforts and to achieve, in a professional and personal sense. The manager must be a leader.
Based on this strong conviction, the School of Economics and Management develops an original training pathway in the Italian panorama because it can promote the growth of its students, both from a technical standpoint and under personal and relational authority. The richness of the typical content of traditional company and economic matters designed to develop the cognitive intelligence of a manager, it binds a process of education to emotional and relational intelligence, as well as the ability to read with profit, increasingly complex environmental scenarios. A student of LIUC extraction does not define a technicality as an end in itself, but more importantly the skill to identify opportunities and the corresponding expertise in order to seize and exploit them quickly, managing any eventual risks.
Regardless of the chosen pathway of study, the business economist that is formed at LIUC is distinguished by:

  • appreciating the spirit of entrepreneurship;
  • having an international vision;
  • mastering the tools for the analysis of business realities;
  • making decisions in complex environments, being aware of their responsibilities;
  • contributing to group work;
  • showing a natural propensity to product and process innovation;
  • sharing a culture of business ethics and management.
