International Management

Course taught in English

International Management offers third-year students the opportunity to take courses taught in English on topics related to the internationalisation of business and the international business environment. It is the natural outlet for those who, after acquiring a sound theoretical and operational knowledge of business processes and functions, want to complete their education with a focus on globalisation issues.

Objectives

Students enrich their knowledge of business processes and functions with the ability to apply the relevant issues in an international context. They acquire the tools to understand and analyse the international business environment and to operate in multicultural contexts.

Didactics

The language of instruction is English. The international character of the course is also complemented by the multinational composition of the class thanks to the participation of foreign exchange students. Teaching is interactive, with team work for case studies and in-class presentations. The course consists of four modules:

  • Managing project and multi-cultural organisations
  • Strategic Analysis of Italian Industries
  • International business economics
  • International financial markets

Job Profiles

In addition to the classic labour market outlets of a business administration student (entrepreneur, manager in the manufacturing and services sector, consultant etc.), students are prepared for functions related to the internationalisation of business and can thus refer not only to the Italian labour market, but also to the foreign labour market.
