Putting people at the core

The social, economic and cultural growth of a community must come from the ability to develop sensitivity and attention towards  individuals and their talents, both in the personal and professional dimension and with particular emphasis on the young.

Through its orientation initiatives, LIUC informs and supports young people in their choices regarding their university studies, while the Career Service guides and facilitates their integration into the labour and professional circuit.

By participating as a partner in the design and implementation of a number of IFTS/ITS pathways, expressions of the area’s manufacturing soul, LIUC also works to ensure quality training for young people who intend to build a highly employable technical-professional profile.

For professionals already working in the field, LIUC offers continuing education, currently provided by CARED and the Industrial Cinema Archive to teachers and school managers and by the Rostoni Library to library directors and staff.

The University’s CSR unit is particularly active in dedicating initiatives to the growth of the individual and the community, through educational and training activities that have become a distinctive feature of the Liuc model. In the area of CSR, the Inclusion Service provides important support for vulnerability and the Counseling and Well-being Service offers courses on health promotion and healthy lifestyles, development of personal and professional potential, capacity and awareness building and sustainability awareness projects.

Putting people at the centre also means accompanying their all-round cultural growth. That is why LIUC is committed to offering the community an intense calendar of events, fairs and opportunities for contact and in-depth study in the humanities and sciences.
